These Terms of Service govern your use of InstaStory at instastory.app. By using the site you agree to these terms, so please read them carefully before you continue.
Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using InstaStory, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the site.
These terms apply to every visitor, whether you view a single story or use the tool regularly. We may update them over time, as described later on this page.
What InstaStory is
InstaStory is a free, anonymous tool for viewing and downloading publicly available Instagram content, including stories, highlights, reels, and profile pictures. You do not need an account, and you never log in with Instagram credentials to use it.
We are an independent service. InstaStory is not part of Instagram, and it simply presents public content in a faster, more private way.
Acceptable use
You agree to use InstaStory lawfully and respectfully. In particular, you may not use the service for harassment, stalking, or intimidation of any person, and you may not use content found here to threaten or harm anyone.
You may not attempt to bypass Instagram's privacy settings, since private accounts are strictly off-limits and are never accessible through our tool. You also may not engage in scraping, bulk automation, or other abusive access that overloads or interferes with the service, and you may not resell, rebrand, or commercially exploit InstaStory or the content obtained through it without permission.
Public content only
InstaStory works exclusively with public Instagram accounts. If a profile is private, its content is not accessible through our service, and we do not provide any way around that.
We respect the choices creators make about their privacy. A private account stays private, and no feature of this site is designed to defeat those settings.
Intellectual property and creator rights
The stories, reels, images, and other media you access through InstaStory belong to the creators who posted them or to their respective rights holders. We do not claim ownership of any of that content.
You should treat anything you view or download as being for personal, private use only. If you want to repost, publish, or otherwise share a creator's work, it is your responsibility to obtain their permission first and to follow all applicable laws.
No guarantee of availability
InstaStory depends on Instagram's public endpoints, which are outside our control and can change at any time. As a result, features may occasionally slow down, break, or stop working without notice.
We do our best to keep the service running smoothly, but we cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free access. We may also modify or discontinue parts of the service at any time.
Advertising
InstaStory is free because it is supported by advertising, including ads served through Google AdSense and other partners. These ads are what allow us to offer the tool at no cost.

Disclaimer of warranties
InstaStory is provided on an as is and as available basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be accurate, reliable, secure, or free of interruptions.
You use the service at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including those of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, InstaStory and the people behind it will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. This includes any loss of data, profits, or goodwill.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid to use it, which for a free service is zero.
Not affiliated with Instagram
InstaStory is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc. All trademarks, including Instagram, belong to their respective owners.
Any reference to Instagram on this site is purely descriptive and exists only to explain what our tool does.
Changes to these terms
We may revise these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page, and the updated terms take effect once they are posted.
By continuing to use InstaStory after changes are posted, you accept the revised terms. If you do not agree with an update, please stop using the site.
